How bad is your handwriting become since the dawn of computer age?

Get your handwriting changed into a font guys...

It both looks just like your handwriting, but also neater, due to repeating characters being identical. I've never been called out by writing a letter using my own handwriting font!

I'd love to know how they used to write so eloquently and neatly in the past. If you read any bit of writing from 100 years ago it's incredibly neat and written in very "flowery" joined writing.

I was the only person in school to write with a fountain pen for years. I just much preferred the feel of it and the way it scratched the paper! Could never stand cheap ball point pens, they really irritate me. Even though I've given up using a fountain pen, I still use those nylon tipped pens because they write so much better.

My writing's far from being neat and perfect, but it's still legible which is surprising given how much I type these days. Hand writing is becoming a bit of a lost art form though.

Please do not use small-caps when writing!! It's absolutely awful and after a week or two it becomes just as illegible as joined writing...

Its definitely fading away, along with my back...

My handwriting was bad to start with, and now I only use a pen once or twice a week its absolutely awful.
And to make it worse there is no spell checker for a pen, so spelling also has gone out the window.

I tend to use a notepad daily, so I write a lot. My handwriting has never been great, but it's still good enough that people can read. :)

The something brown for (?) jumped over the lazy dog. easy for the most part.

"The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog". It's a classic handwriting phrase because it includes every letter of the alphabet.

My handwriting is pretty bad, but mostly legible. I don't really understand the hate it's getting. I love writing out by hand, especially with pencil - it feels great :).

Indeed, I'd write a lot more if other people could read it (literally) and not think I look like a handicapped 6yr old :(.

Pretty horrendous:

I'm left handed, I've never been a neat writer, and have been typing more or less everything since I started Secondary School. I don't think my handwriting stood much chance of ever being neat.

Just think, the only time a child of the next generation will hold a pen is when they're shining it at someone.

Because it's a laser pen.
