512GB Samsung 850 EVO for OS & Games - it's plenty for me personally; I dump files onto an external drive and I've not had to uninstall any games to make way for new ones, yet...

250gb for OS and web browser + any other programs that load with Windows. Atm that's pretty much only afterburner.

500gb ssd for games + programs

1TB for bulk storage

My latest build (i7 8700) uses a 2TB Western Digital GOLD HDD for OS drive, and another 2TB WD GOLD for Data, I do also have a Samsung 840 PRO in that computer but it's used for caching only.

I used to have a 250GB for my OS but it felt as though it was always full and i was having to delete things just to get by with the basics.

Now i have a 1TB for my OS and dont have to think about it. That being said i now also have an 8TB drive for my steam library so that makes a large difference.

Was a 256 but upgraded to a 512 SSD this weekend. Problem was other users on my pc (namely kids) with games like Robox downloading massive files to the C drive and things like Spotify doing the same. Much as I tried to educate I've done this to stop coming home to a drive that was grinding to a halt with only 50mb free.
It also has 3 4tb drives and a 7tb drive.

256 should be enough but whatever you do random software still likes to put things on the C drive.
