How can I recover a partition on my HDD?

Today I had to reinstall Windows because it wouldn't let me in (I tried 3 system restores). I wiped my main partition to reinstall but I hope my other partition is safe?
When I try get to it with with Disk management it says 'the disk is not formatted, format now?'

Anyone know I can get my data off it? Or just restore the partition?
