How can i revamp our clubs website.

Yeah I would definitely just find a nice template, and build off that if you haven't got a lot of HTML experience, makes life a lot easier.

The only problem with having loads of pages is editing each page one by one. I used to use txt file includes with php back when I was younger so if I updated 1 text file it updated on the whole of the website.

I still do it on the odd occasion if there’s more than 6 pages to edit.

OP should've made a backup and got rid of all the wordpress stuff, and the index.php file so his site works from just the URL.
Also you probably want a SSL certificate so your site loads with https:// instead.

I assume the OP will do this once they get around to starting a new one.

That site isn’t much to it, would have took me around an hour to get one online fully moved over to bootstrap.

Depends on the hosting as well ofc in re the SSL.

According to my knowledge and familiarity with this industry, There are several ways to revamp your club's website, here are a few suggestions:

  1. Before making any changes to your website, it's important to evaluate its current performance. Use tools like Google Analytics to understand how visitors are interacting with your site, identify areas that need improvement and prioritize those for your revamp.
  2. A fresh, modern design can make a big difference in the way your website looks and feels. Consider hiring a web designer or using a website builder to create a new, visually appealing layout that is easy to navigate.
  3. With the majority of internet traffic coming from mobile devices, it's essential that your website is optimized for them. Make sure your website is responsive and works well on all devices, including smartphones and tablets.
  4. Optimizing your website for search engines can help increase visibility and drive more traffic to your site. Use keywords in your content, meta tags, and alt tags, and make sure your website loads quickly.
  5. Consider adding new features to your websites such as an event calendar, a members-only section, or a forum to increase engagement and keep members coming back.
  6. Ask your members for feedback on the current website, what they like and dislike, and what they would like to see in the new website. This can help you identify important features and make sure that the new website meets the needs of your audience.
  7. Once you've made all the changes, test your website thoroughly to ensure that everything is working properly. Once you're satisfied with the results, launch your new website and promote it to your members and other audiences.
It's important to note that revamping a website is not a one-time task, it's a continuous process, it's essential to keep your website updated with new content, features, and security patches to make sure it stays relevant and secure.
