How can mobile operators justify outside allowance charges.

The itemisation is just a CSV file of what the website shows, there are no charges other than data usage.

In which case I suggest contacting TM, they'll be able to look into the bill and establish if it's an error or not, does sound like it is but there's always that very slim chance it's something he's done unwittingly.

No, first charge is 45mb, second is 23mb. The first 000s are GB. Already asked T-Mobile they said it was MB not GB.

It's a 3G phone, how can one use 70GB in one day, can't even do that on my home broadband.

So their online billing/data appears to cater for TB's of useage?
Orange bills are much the same, little brother was being heftily overcharged for data, queried the bill, Orange didn't haev a clue. The bill he was sent had iirc 3 different data useage amounts depending on where you looked on the bill.
Utter chaos lol

What a bizarre format for billing. Why on earth are there four digits for each order of magnitude and why does it appear to display TB of usage when it says GB:MB:kB? Makes no sense lol.

Finally got through to someone who has authority instead of a phone jockey who kept telling me I was wrong and the charges were right.

Apparently they never activated the cap on his phone, usually they stop the internet and you can't use it until you agree to buy an internet booster, they never activated cap of £1 per day either.

They sent his bill away to be recalculated so all being well he should owe them £1 for overages.

Good news. That mount they wanted to charge your dad was outrageous.
