How can people call it fashion?

I don't understand fashion at all, despite my girlfriends best intentions to educate me on the subject.

Most fashionable things look like **** imo, but then I guess thats because I'm not fashionable. What I don't really get is that to be fashionable doesn't have to look good. Then why bother with it?
 
Just wear what your comfy wearing tbh. I just dont like emos who try to be nonconformists but then conform to the emo stereotype :confused:

I go from wearing shirt + jeans,tshirt + jeans,tracky bottoms + hoody,jeans + hoody......add a hat to any of them....i dont really care but its comfy.
 
Having read this thread earlier I popped out for lunch and saw possibly the worst dressed man in Britain, the jeans and shoes were fine but he was wearing a bright red 18 centuary style military jacket complete with rank flashes etc and on his head he had what can only be described as the type of flat cap you'd wear to the Blue Oyster Club. To top it all off the lad was wearing large bright pink hoop earings i mean ffs what was he thinking!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!

I hate the high top converse with different coloured laces,skin tight black jeans with the arse hanging out with the metal pointy belt things,some my chemical romance/bullet for my valentine hoody,hair straighted so it sits over one eye and finally some hat from one of their bands. :(
 
i guess some people wear stuff just to be different, and as an expression rather than looking than looking good. that said, it can look good and they themselves might think its looks good but its all down to opinion.
 
I have only ever seen one individually dressed person in the last... 5 years or so.

He's this random dude who walks about town, he always has a big top hat on, blazer with soem form of shirt on underneith, tight trousers and big black army boots. With the addition of a walking cane.

Fair play to him i say.
