How can you tell if a SSD has been doing its trimming & GC thing?

You could check the grass length and see if the bins are empty

start a run command as admin

type
fsutil behavior query DisableDeleteNotify

If the result is '0' TRIM is enabled.

That command only lets you know that trim is enabled in windows, its not a sure thing that its working

Same goes with this utility I use, it says trim is enabled, but thats it.
