How comes Banksy never gets caught in the act?

Well that's the explanation I saw on a 'How do they do magic tricks' video.
Seems a bit too easy when he claims he doesn't use camera trickery.

The difference is he is conning people if he claims in writing on all his shows that none of his tricks are done using camera trickery.

No I’m saying you don’t know that “the authorities” know who he is. That copyright issue for example you’ve highlighted.

There isn’t any reason to suggest that any particular person among “the authorities” knows who he is and so far you’ve not given a clear explanation of who might and why?

The artist's name and images are registered EU Trademarks. His site also says, "This site asserts the trademark to Banksy’s name and images is held by the artist, and is not transferable to any third party"
His real name would therefore have to already be in the EU-IPO register against those trademarks, both in order for him to hold it and in order for anyone to enforce it.

Plus he's got an estimated income of $20 million a year. He'd have to declare income to the tax man, and thus his name, whether it's published books or artworks or whatever. Recepts showing royalty payments for books by Banksy are a pretty obvious clue, no?
