How did you all find this place?

My dad told me about the shop when I wanted to buy some Arctic Silver. I then found the forums, seems like a life time ago.

mate of mine told me bout shop, i surfed them for a while, registered on forums to get some help, reregistered when forum db was wiped, then never really posted until a few months ago.

When someone told me you could get an athlon 750 to run at 1000, pre-modded. My interest in hardware stopped shortly after, but I stayed on the forum.

Same here, was working in an electronics shop in my high street and some fella came in and started talking about pcs and what not. He then mentioned OCUK, where they did oc'd cpu's and mobos...so off i went later that night and checked it out. Bought a few things and thats where my love affair with ocuk started...thats going back a good 5-6 yrs now. I then discovered the forums off one of the links on the homepage and since then ive been stuck here.

No, the nuke was done due to the forum becoming very slow. Everyone received an email warning them and we all had to sign up again.

How so?

The forums are always open in the background when I am on my PC. At roughly 1 minute to make a post that means I spend 8/9 minutes posting on these forums each day and probable 1/1.5 hours a day reading the material on here.

Forum was hacked early 2001 I think and returned as a VB forum March 2001 in a lilac/white colour scheme and gun avatars. October (18th iirc) 2002 the forums were completely nuked and started again due to running slow.

I found here because a mate used to post here on odd occasions but I think he has stopped posting here at all now while I'm still going. It took me ages to sign up though as there was a while where registrations were disabled or it might have been a problem with my uni email account, I can't quite remember now.
