How did you find OCUK and more specifically - the forum!

I really can't remember, but the thread that got me interested in reading/posting on the forums more was the "Broadband" photoshop thread. I think I'd been a member for a few months previous to that, but I can't remember why

went to the shop when it was still millenium, think it was to get a price for a Pentium 166 mmx pc. Came to the forums on the old ones that got hacked, didn't register untill the next forums.

I originally found OcUK from Google and liked the speed of the site so used it for deciding components for the first PC. I then saw it reccomended by people.

The forums, I was annoyed at, at first due to not even being able to search. I joined when I got my web space, as these email addresses are not blocked. :D

I hate you Baddass :( ;)

Don't we all. :p

I found it through a PCAdvisor mag advert or product review one or the other, as they had it very cheap.

Then was bored so clicked forums and lurked about for a year, then signed up and lurked with about 10 posts.

Changed my ISP forgot all passwords and was off school with something that stuck me in bed for 3 months, so I re-registered and started posting and started an addiction I still have 3 years on. :(

And BrenOS introduced me before that. 2000 I think although my memory doesn't really stretch that far back.

Searching for pc components. Ordered some then noticed the forums. Have been trapped here ever since. :p

again here.. I was after some advice on a spanking new Geforce3500 so followed the link.

How I started posting outside the techie forums i don't know :)

A mate of my dads knew one of the blokes who used to own OCUK (think it might have been the chap who ran Millenium Computers, not sure) and he recommended them for some parts.

This was back in the day of unlocked Athlon 850's guaranteed to hit 1 gig, and Abit KT7A's, i.e. late 2001.

I went to the shop, Gibbo recommended me some Crucial memory because it would take higher FSB's (he was right) and he recommended I join the forums.

I've kinda drifted away from PC's, I have the odd tinker but its more for entertainment purposes such as playing mp3's, dvd's and t'internet now.

A friend told me a bout OcUk when i asked him about computer parts. Initially, for the first few months i never signed up to the forums or browsed them but when i ordered my graphics card i signed up and here i am :)

I can't remember now, go and check one of the 100 other threads like this we have.
