How did you get your job?

Sequoia: That's a shocking amount of information you've given us there - did you have a indiscreet moment? ;)

CBS: I thought that everyone knew that Scuzi works in air traffic control.

What do ye do, Scuzi?

Purveyor of all things fancy for a rather extravagant wealthy businessman.

I stop planes arriving and departing the london airports from banging into each other. :o

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."

:D :p ;)

My last job I'd just finished a 6 month contract with an ISP, afterwards (in a woeful breach of the DPA but nevermind) one of the ISPs clients contacted them and got my number, and phoned me up and offered me a job because I'd impressed them. :)

My current job (several years later) I was offered by a friend of mine working for a company he's the lead developer for, it's only evening part time support but the money is good and it gives me loads of free time. :)

The job I am currently applying for, I filled out an application form and attached my cv and e-mailed it in.

Have an interview next week on the 18th then if I get through that I have to go to an assessment day later next month, if I get through that I get the job!

60 people are going to be interviewed and 15 people are going to the assessment day.

Sent in an application form, passed a multitude of aptitude tests, psychiatric evaluations, three interviews and medical tests and eventually got the job after a year long selection process. You could say it wasn't exactly a typical application process :p

You PASSED?! :p

Actually your jobs rules dude I'd like to have something like that too :D

I received a phone call and was invited to lunch where they asked me to take over their head office. Completely out of the blue, said yes and never looked back.

Well the last job I had I found out about through college, phoned up the company, went in for an interview, got the job.

Now that I left that place and started uni I haven't had a job in a while and I'm looking for one atm, mind you I spose I could put in more effort, it's just that there aren't many decent jobs, aimed at uni students that I would consider doing.

I want a job :(
