When we were younger, we all had things we remembered, and these things can still be remembered today. What do you remember?

I remember now that I have remembered that when I wanted to remember where North, East, South and West is... I never used the Never Eat Shredded Wheat, I remember that I always used, Now Eat Some Weetabix.

So now that I have used the remember word nine times, what do you remember? (now ten).

remember to stop drinking :p

Ironically, I can't remember anything that helped me learn while young, aside from the whole compass NESW thing, and singing the alphabet to the tune of twinkle twinkle little star :p

I just remember remembered the 5th of November.

I have excellent long term memory, can recall smells, details, sounds, textures, voices, faces etc with very little help from memory cues but my working and short term memory are not so good and I might often come back from Morrisons with Eggs instead of Milk or forget why I went upstairs but remember minutes/hours later. Perhaps I'm multitasking too much during STM storage :p

Hot summers and very cold winters. Remember my mum putting a pair of freshly washed jeans on the line and they froze solid. Could lift them up like a plank of wood :D

Well I remember, I remember don't worry
How could I ever forget, it's the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you don't fool me
The hurt doesn't show; but the pain still grows
It's no stranger to you or me

Spring up, fall (autumn) down for remembering which way the clocks go for daylight savings.

If you hold your left thumb perpendicular to you first finger it forms a capitol L for Left.

Few others but i don't really need to use them any more, such as 'babies eat carrots and up set eggs' for spelling because.

I remember when i was about 10-12 years i used to spend all my evening playing football as we lived right next to the school playing field and that i was never allowed to stay out after 9pm and used to take some major mental bennies at my mother because of this.

I struggle to remember anything before the age of 9 when my mum and dad split up.

I have a few memories of events, but nearly everything else seems to of been wiped out by that event.

Some years back i had the luck of remembering something i had almost forgotten, when i was really young i could see weird colours and shapes in the air when it was still dark early in the morning, they used to float about and i never understood what it was and didn't think to ask anyone at the time, they were so real and stable i could actually reach out and try to grab them but they faded away and stuff, after a bit of research i now think its probably some form of hypnagogic imagery, cool memories though! :D

Actually it could be a form of Synesthesia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

it's believed that babies/toddlers experience life like this until they are taught how to interpret what they see.

It can go on throughout life though.

My earliest memory is sitting in my cot (the type of cot that is a bed with bars all around it). I used to get bored and drop my bottle through the bars. Then I'd try to pick it up with my feet.

That seems weird now because I can't imagine my feet being able to reach the floor. But I definitely recall it.
