how dirty is your motor?

I clean my car at least once a week. However I've not done mine in about 4 days now, and it's covered in mud! grrrr

Looks cleaner than it is. It's my daily hack, I don't really like it that much and although its serviced on the dot and the interior immaculate I couldn't really care less how it looks outside.

Mine is filthy at the moment in and out and I hate it, I've got a morning off next Tuesday so hoping to give it a much needed wash and hoover (weather dependant!)

I haven't bothered recently. The outside doesn't show it and the boot thing isn't an issue.

Inside is still relatively clean, I don't leave rubbish in there so it's just a bit dusty. Then again, I'm doing 2 miles maybe twice a week so it's not really an issue!

My old car used to get washed once a year.... by the dealers when I take it in for a service :D
My car now gets washed (inside and out) once every 2 weeks come rain or shine... I don't mind spending hours washing it because I don't see the point in owning a nice car when you don't keep it looking nice.

Even if I can avoid touching the dirt on my car, my passengers can't. And for some reason it really bugs me seeing where they've touched the dirt:

Spent over 4hrs cleaning mine today.. But it's going to get dirty again when I do an airport run tomorrow morning :o A few hours of pain for a day or two of cleanliness.... it's worth it :D

I personally despise cleaning the exterior of a motor and put it off for as long as i can until my boss says to give it a clean. However with the interior i try to keep it as clean as possible as that is where i spend all of my time. And if opening the back i put on some latex gloves to avoid my fingers getting any bits of dirt oh and i also have antibacterial gel in the glove compartment so there you go don't judge a book by its cover as they say!

Or you could just... drive through a car wash innit.

agreed. I think for everyone that doesn't bother just like me its just laziness to be honest and it not being on the list as a high priority.

Yet you put on gloves to open the rear and one of those gay hand sanitizer things in your car. Yes I called them gay.

£3.50 for the local asylum seekers here to wash your car. It takes them 10 minutes and then your car is clean (well, in a fashion!)

You can even sit in the car while they do it and you don't have to move! Ideal for lazy people!

People who are incapable of closing the boot lid using the handles located inside said boot lid are stupid.
I have never knowingly left finger prints on the boot lid of my car when dirty.

Mine are filthy at the moment, but then driving in rain on the motorway will do that.
