So is the only reason you want .com that you want a slightly shorter email to type into online forms? because it seems to me that you've already wasted far more time than you're ever going to save!

If you want to save a further letter, just get a gmx.com account.

Or if you want extremely short use mail.com, they give you a choice of tonnes of endings, even a couple of two and three letter ones such as @dr.com @usa.com

the only way you can get an @gmail.com or googlemail.com is to sign up with a US proxy as well, sign up normally and you get a .co.uk

Either way I have the same email address with both gmail.com and msn.com. You hotmail and live people, pah!
