How do i get full speed with my wireless?

i thought:
b - 54Mbps
g - 108Mbps
n - 270Mbps
Is that not right?

I know im not on n speeds, havnt bought an adaptor for this router yet.

Looking at the specifications and OcUK's G routers it seems thats a bit wrong.

b = 11
g = 54 (with proprietary standards to double speed to 108/125 (netgear Super G / belkin HSM)
n = 300

Don't quote me on that, but I'd assume that is the reason. It looks like everything is set up properly. Can you test it any other way?

Although, any shop would let you return the N adapter if it wasnt that..

Tried b & g too

In the mode Tab, is there another option to set this to 270Mbps ?.

Can you try to borrow another USB adapter that you know is up to the N standard.

Just got a feeling its your adapter on the PC!!!!

Just to add to the confusion, My laptop uses an intel wireless adaptor, and to be able to connect at N speeds to my Belkin N1, I have to login using AES and not TKIP. With tkip Im locked to 54bps. Another setting to look at if all else fails.
