How Do You All Backup Your Data?

home Nothing, dont really have any files that i cant download again from somehwere
photos that i may want to keep are all on social media

Work
anything important goes onto google drive,
all the important work databases for invoicing and dispatch are on a decentralised cloud system with umpteen layers of redundancy

My current setup uses Macrium Reflect to copy data drives to a pair of USB3 disks (256bit encrypted) that are rotated offsite every fortnight. This is scheduled to run daily incremental, weekly differential and fortnightly full backups. This can retain ~6 months of history.
Also maintain a full image of all drives to an internal SATA disk as an alternative that retains 1 month.
Photos are additionally backed up to OneDrive automatically.

I use a program called SECOND COPY

Used it for years

I have found, that since setting up a Server for my junk in the House, and having multiple PCs both my own, and the family's, it lets me automatically back everything up ( Well everything important )
The server has a 120GBSSD, and 3TB, 4TB 2x8TB and 4x10TB ( although I often ask myself WTFF? )

I dont care about installations, or specific programs, but the Data, Music, Pictures etc, are all saved for the family, into their own little folders, but my own main PC is fully copied AS-IS and my Laptops and lesser used PCs are, like the families machines, just the data. My PC is done once a week, the other PCs are done whenever the server sees them on the network.

The Server is in my computer room, and to be honest, I dont know why, however, I also have 4 large NAS ( 2x2TB, 2x2TB, 4x4TB, 4x4TB ) setups in the garage that are backups of the server. This is done once a week.

For my main rig, I use deja-dup, backup to an external drive and sync all the contents on that drive to 3 different drives, I do that weekly.

For my MacBook, time machine backup to 2 different drives.

Also I have some stuff synced between all my devices with Syncthing and some of that same stuff is backed up in the cloud, encrypted of course.

USB hdd and manual backups for anything important, don't really have huge volumes of stuff to backup. Most of the stuff on my pc is games that can just redownloaded through steam or whatever launcher or software than can just be reinstalled.

Raid to another local raid to S3 bucket.

Had planned to run another supermicro based freenas at my parents and create a VPN between the "sites". But then I realised that was extreme.

I backup my main OS drive that has about 40gb of data, onto 2 hard drives every few weeks
I take my chance with my games and download drive, as that dont get backed up
I have just started to backup my media drive that has over 3tb worth of data using LTO tapes, as I couldn't bring myself to buy a 3+tb hard drive just for backing up
