Glaucus, you're so wrong mate. You can only see the surface of the kebab. Under that salad is about 3 inches of meat covering the whole box. It was MASSIVE.
I literary just finished a kebab!
Eat the salad and meat (usually go for donner and chicken) with a fork on the naan. Kind of like an asian equivilent of beef chips and gravy in a giant yorkshire pud.
Dig in with fingers like a caveman, eating everything from the top of the bread. Then rip the bread into pieces and consume, or once the innards have been sufficiently reduced, wrap the rest up like a giant fajita and polish it off.
You're really not, because you failed twice in your opening gambit. You don't have chips in a kebab (they come on the side if anything) and you don't get rabbit food either.
[edit]In fact you failed three times. Mint sauce is for lamb or losers. You want garlic mayo (NOT sauce) and chilli sauce.
You're all wrong.
Mixed donner, Garlic mayo/sauce(depends what styles they have), mint sauce, chili sauce, onions & chillis, occasionally cabbage but again depends on the style they have.
They never seem to put enough chilli sauce on for my liking. I always ask them to drown it in chilli sauce and just get a sprinkling over the top every time.
I'm going to have to try and source where they get it from and buy a big bottle of it.
Wow i haven't seen an English dirty kebab in so long...god that looks amazing and tasty!!
Edit - It is all about LOTS of garlic mayo and chilli sauce, a good salad, lots of onions and a huge portion of chips. I actually like it with chips more than pita...man i want that so bad and you just cant get them like that over here
It's mint yoghurt, a touch of lemon juice, and a ton of chilli sauce Also, the only time you should be picking up the kebab in its entirety is when you pick it up off the chip shop counter.
if its just a donner and in a box with no salad, I take the pitta out to eat mid meal, then i chuck a load of tomato sauce on the meat then mix it all up, then get stuck in
with salad, I will eat the salad first, then eat the rest as above.
