How do you feel about cosplay?

It was always pretty fun getting a costume together for a Halloween party, so I imagine it is similar to that.

Not something I am interesting in doing as a hobby (either doing cosplay myself, or following people that do), but it is good that people have hobbies.

Always leaves me with mixed feelings , on one hand it's impressive with the amount of effort and detail that they put into it but on the other it seems a bit weird to be that obsessed with it.

Cosplay is attention seeking people.
people who go full on re-enacting old battles though I have a bit more respect for because they aren't doing it just for a photo opportunity

I think the elements of cosplay have always been around.

Not interested particularly, some of the outfits are impressive though, saying that we have considered dressing up and going to comic con in the past.

thats why you get so many dumbed down braindead games that appeal to the masses, everything has to appeal to everyone these days that's why everything is mostly utter crap.

Never been rejected in my life
For the record I always saw my self as average, I think compared to my age range I aged a hell of a lot better than 90% of people and I'm really tall which helps

also still got a full head of hair at 40

So do you class models as attention seeking when they're on a catwalk? It's literally their job

Not for me but I do respect the level of skill that goes into some of them especially when the person + outfit completely nails the character.

Some of Adam Savage's more detailed and longer builds are fascinating to watch.
