I usually play on my 360 connected to a 26" LCD TV on my desk, sitting probably 2 feet away from me. Last night I hooked up the same 360 to a 42" plasma to compare the difference.
I played COD4 and Mass Effect, noting that the increase in size made the games feel more epic and I was able to pick up on finer detail. I also played Mirror's Edge for about 5 minutes before I felt like throwing up
. The downside though was sitting 6 feet away I found I couldn't aim as well. I was playing COD4 on the easiest setting just to bash through some levels but I thought if I played anything harder, spray and pray wouldn't cut it!
If you have a big TV, do you find this to be a problem or do you get used to it?
A couple of other small things: Geometry Wars 2 on a big screen is awesome, and PGR3 has not aged well!
