This is exactly my point. I think I'd make it in modelling because I'm vain and I love myself. It's quite simple really and it doesn't make you any less of a person for admitting it. If you don't think this then it's probably not the case.

It was only an idea I am a man of many talents if not modelling then I will stick to my day job as an I.T Technician less hassle I guess.

If you are actually a stunning chap then, im sure people will be more inclined to help, rather than think "ponce"
i reckon about 1 :1000 actually get anywhere modeling.
or try calling AIRFIX, they do good models.

A mate of mine got spotted at a clothes show so that might be worth a go.
Think it was Storm modelling or something like that.
But as everyone else said, unless you are very good looking or have a somewhat unique appearance you'll not have much chance.

I know someone's brother got spotted at JFK when he went to American for a bit of travelling, literally just stepped off the plane and got given an business card, turned up for some interview and shoot and now just been told he got $30,000 for a day's shooting for FCUK or DKNY and whatnot last month.
