How do you keep up?

I don't really worry about keeping up, I generally only check the forums once or twice a day and only the sections that I'm interested in. Saying that it is so very easy to waste time on these forums, I used to all the time when I was still at uni.

Same as a few others really, I just check the first page of posts a couple of times a day. The decent stuff tends to remain on the first page long enough for me to poke my nose through it.

Usually check gaming forums and sometimes the hardware/software forums too. And how can I forget the photography forums once in a while, there are some amazing people in there producing some brilliant photos.

The forum doesn't update quick enough for me, lol, I've already read all my interested-in threads and I'm sat there bashing F5 hoping that someone has posted something new :P

I've heard Fox has a wireless neural implant in his visual cortex to keep an eye on motors. Well it's that or he has no life :D

i have ocuk running in the background as i work and whenever bored or a lul in work i'll have a quick browse, post and carry on with work mainly interested in GD and consoles but if nothing new there i'll check movies and sport thats it.

Quite surprised how many people don't seem to read the hardware stuff. I just kind of assumed nearly everyone based on the nature of the website and all that.

People joined these forums up to 9 years ago and joined probably for the hardware and the community of other hobbies took off. I personally only go into Hardware when I have an issue or looking for an upgrade. The forum has grown from what it was but I would say 90% of the people who join, join for the hardware and then venture into different sections.

I tend to ask most hardware questions on another forum now as the responses are pretty much minimal on here now :(

i joined originally for a hardware prob needed sorting out and my mate who'd been using this site suggested asking here after prob was solved just stuck to the forums mentione din previous post.

I've noticed a couple of people mentioning this recently, which sub-forums are you asking in and what about? A few good people have probably left or post less frequently but there is still a pretty decent knowledge base here.

I retired from my multi-million pound business last year so that I could sit at home and browse the forum full time, best decision I ever made.

I don't worry about it. I generally cover everything I need to anyway, and anything I miss gets brought to my attention.

You don't really miss too much though as you dont exactly do a lot when you're at work anyway, unless you have broken the habit of a lifetime?:D;)
