How do you kill a fly ??

Wait till they land, then poke them with one finger, from above. They can't see it coming and it looks pretty pro.

I was taught a cool way to do it as a kid.

Wait until they have landed then clap your hands firmly together approx. 1 inch above them. They sense the movement and fly straight up - into the palms of death. Works every time

Call one of the cats. He'll come trotting up and then locate, catch, kill, and dispose of the fly :cool:

Open a window, it usually flys out or I put a cat near it to chase it away/eat it.

two options move dead slow or super fast. i use a badminton racket normally.

if you move dead slow they don't see the movement as i believe they see things 10x faster so slow movement appears not to be movement (that was what i was told as a kid)

the big slow ones normally get caught by the dog in the end, either way it's highly entertaining watching the dog chase it

Came back from holiday to find loads of these little dirty flies in my flat because I had left fruit and other food sitting out. They were all sitting on a bunch of bananas so attacked that with air fresher to slow them down then gave them all a good battering with a newspaper.

Flies see 5 seconds into the future so it's impossible to kill them by swatting (trust me I've tried) because they have already seen you try. The only way to kill them is with spray - by the time they realise the spray will kill them, it's too late. True story.
