How do you manage being managed out?

If I remember rightly, you've posted quite a lot of threads about investigations, reports, disciplinaries, how you can get your manager into trouble etc.

It sounds like the environment is not productive for you or your employer, so I think you should leave as soon as is practica .

I can't quite make it out, but are they saying that you raising a grievance yourself and them deciding it didn't warrant an action they have considered as an actionable disciplinary matter against you?

Because pretty sure that is not acceptable. They're not allowed to punish you for raising an issue just because they disagree.
No the grievance is not related but made at the time of disciplinary as it happened a few days before

Don’t want to get anyone in trouble I’m just wanting to cover my back. I been working for years but this is all new to me.
Getting people’s views that can help now and in the future.

was planning on relocating middle of next year so I need to hold on to this job a little longer. but then covid so I not sure now.

Its hard when a company wants to be rid of you , i was a cnc programmer on nights ,stack of drawings (hard copy to dxf to in house cutting software and we couldnt scan them in all drawn in cad from scratch ) ,turn them into parts ,go home 4 hours early sometimes or 30 mins other times but this was ok with the bosses ,then we were taken over ,new bosses saw the alarm setting logs and boom. gross dismissal to the night shift ,but they also got rid of day shift managers and put there own in ,and never started another night shift ,they just wanted rid

I've found this as well it depends on how valuable you are to the company and/or manager I've had bosses who will make your life hell until either you voluntarily quit or they find some minor infringement that they can slap a disciplinary and/or formal warning until they have enough points to fire you. Other managers I've got on with really well and no trouble with anything and they were generally very accomodating unless you did something really dumb or drop the company deep in the doo doo but even they they were generally reasonable about it. Its why I try and make a point of getting on managers not suck up but be pleasant and respecttful. If your boss is simply an a-hole though you're going to be in for a rough ride.

Of course its also possible theres more to this story than being revealed.
