How do you mask fag smoke?

start smoking outside now until hes been then keep the windows open for most of the day and you could spray oust quite often, might be a good idea to ask someone that doesn't smoke to check see if its alright a day or 2 before.

I always smoke indoors with a window open, can honestly say the smell doesn't linger. On my clothes though I've found myself using detergent and fabric softeners with Febreze in them to really get rid of the smell. Not quite what you were asking after though.

What can i do, i've got the landlord coming on friday, i'm not supposed to smoke indoors

The smoke will be embedded in the carpets, wallpaper, curtains and furniture and will take ages the clear.

My advice would be stop smoking in the house or they're going to charge you a lot of money to redecorate.

Might not be in the contract, but if they found out i smoked in the house they would use the excuse to charge for new carpets, new curtains and new furniture. They wouldn't actually do any of this but they would definitely take the deposit for it.

Letting agencies/landlords are just complete ****s in my opinion. If there is a quid to be had, they will get it.

If you go to a hotel where the rule is no smoking in the rooms and you go against this, then they can't eject you from their premises!

If you enter a contract to rent a property and it stipulates no smoking then I really don't see how the agents/landlords are being unreasonable. It's their property and they let it to you accept under their terms.

I smoke only smoke roll-ups and I actually hate the smell of normal cigarettes and even I can smell when someone has been smoking regular cigarettes in a room so, they will be able to do so if non-smokers.

However, fresh ground coffee is a great way of masking ciggy smells so have some on when they vist!

You should look after the property. Ever tried letting a property after a stinking heavy smoker has moved out?

Learn not to do the things youre not supposed to do in your next place. some people are just plain stupid. As above, you were told not to smoke inside so no sympathy whatsoever.

I personally would hate to live or occupy a house of a previous heavy smoker.

I don't hate smoking, many of my friends do it and even I have been known to do it on the occasional night out but WHY do people smoke inside? If you smoke in your room and then sleep for 8 hours you're inhaling smoke all night long and probably increasing your cancer risk tenfold.

Dettol all the surfaces including skirting boards and windows, febreeze all the fabrics every day, stop smoking in the house/flat and leave windows open for the week.
Light a few scented candles an hour or 2 before landlord arrives and you should be fine.

FYI though don't break the rules from now on and you won't have any thing to worry about, which will be damned hard because smokers are naturally inconsiderate anyway.

I believe that the standard reply here should be, that you deserve all you get, you should be tossed out onto the street you lowlife scum!

On the otherhand, a few good suggestions, keep windows open, anything like insence (they might get snippy about that), or citrus fruit will help.. oh.. and KIPPERS.. bloody things stink.. Make sure you have something like that cooking during the day..

If you use incence or patchoulli oil he'll evict you for smoking pot :)

e : to add something. If you have an old towel, drop something pungent on it : Dettol or Laphroaig whisky, for example. Leave this in the rooms you're worried about. Both smells will overcome fag smoke I'd imagine.
