How do you pull your handbrake up?

Oh, I don't think it does any real damage, I just hate the sound. It makes my spine crawl, like nails on a blackboard.

Newsflash, you have more chance of damaging your handbrake system by over extending the handbrake cables by not knowing how far you've pulled the handbrake on....

The GT6 is the opposite to most cars. You have to lift up handbrake and push the button in to lock it. It took some getting used to

Makes me angry some driving instructors are telling kids right now they are wearing out the ratchet by not pressing the button in. Kwik Fit must be forever fixing handbrake ratchets.
