How do you tell a mate..

indeed, how on earth do you manage to spin a 1.2 clio on a mini roundabout, I couldn't manage that if I tried.
And do you mean he actually ran into a kerb at 50mph .

Guy sounds like a liability, crashing into a tree would deffo be my cue to stop doing stupid ****.

In Leighton buzzard down the main road you can get a fair speed and if your going towards milton keynes past tesco (if anyone knows the area) you have a canal which has a little bridge just after that it goes from 2 lanes into split lanes with road islands for the lights so he bombed it over the bridge steering went a little light and he panicked seeing these lights/islands "appear from nowhere" (he didn't know the area too well) One new wheel/rim later..

the roundabout was a mini one he tried cutting up (was a little wet) and spun out and hit a road sign

Its great knowing what to except on the roads out there from other drivers, no wonder insurance is so high :/
As soon sa I passed my test 2 years ago my dad told me to be wary of other drivers over my own driving, so so true the amount of times some idiot has done something on the road and I've witnessed it.

Bletchley..

So dont go to Leighton Buzzard between 6pm and 3am, or between lakes/Bletchley during the day

Uh oh! Bletchely is literally just down the road from me :D Did all my bike and car training there. If you ever see a little 125 'rat bike' going down the A5 with a tall skinny git hunched over it, that's me ;) haha.

Tell him to quit acting like a boy racer and drive on the streets properly like most other people do, chances are he'll kill someone who doesn't deserve it. The public road isn't a racetrack and considering he's new he's not exactly going to react the best to unsudden movements from his car which might result in spinouts, loss of control and maybe death to someone else.

What about going to a racetrack or something private, where no-one else is at risk of death?

I know he's your friend, but it's frekkin' idoits like that that make us pay soooo much insurance.

The Guy needs his license taken off him until he's matured a bit tbh, numerous numpties like this at college, utter prats that can't drive and need to grow up.

Im 18 and would never act in such a way, also as for going nut's and acting like Damon Hill? after passing your test how is this normal?

You should be putting everything you have learnt and pushing yourself to be an even better driver whilst remaining responsible and having consideration for other road users.

Too true. Im 18 and i passed my test when i was 17, and the only times i have driven like an idiot is when i know there is nobody else around (even then i dont do retarded things where there could be the possibility of people)

I dont do it anymore because i grew up and out of it, unlike a friend of mine who is the same age and drives like a tw@

A) Police let him off the no entry sign thing as he was a new driver

I'm rather surprised by that, I'd expect a new driver to be very aware of what a no entry sign means since they will have had to pass their theory test recently and I'm pretty sure road signs feature in it. And "I thought the police were following me" is a really poor excuse, I'm not totally surprised they were following if he was driving like a plank.

Trying to look on the bright side, at least he isn't in a hugely powerful car so it could be a lot worse. It is probably worth letting him know that you think his driving is dodgy, hopefully he'll wise up on his own but if not you've then tried to say something, if he ignores it that is his lookout. :)
