You just get used to picking the mouse up and dragging it really fast. My mat is 45cm wide, so I can almost get a 180 spin from the centre of the mat to the edge. The total amount of times in-game when you actually need to do a 180 spin is probably less than you'd think, and you get the advantage of being very precise

To people like me though it still seems like an incredibly low sens, a 360 turn is around 5-7cm for me not 50-70!

Obviously it depends on the sort of games you play, in Quakeworld you need to do a lot of rapid flick shots sometimes at 180 degrees. Playing as a 'wrist' player would be very hard with a low sensitivity, you'd need to do some moves in stages!

finger movement only, my writs/arm stays still and i just move the mouse under my hand with my finger tips.

I 'claw-grip' the mouse, with just a bit of my palm barely touching and my wrist firmly on the mat hardly moving. So, about 90% hand(finger) movement.

That's how I hold my moust as well, can cover the entire screen near enough just by moving my fingers about.
