Nothing wrong with a bit of wrist action.

I move my arm, moving just the hand/wrist would hurt after a while..

is this a trick question - the hand moves by the action of the wrist, how can you move you hand without moving your wrist? Is the poll meant to read hand / arm / hand&arm? or elbow / wrist / wrist+elbow?

I keep my wrist rigid and move my whole forearm which is pivoted on the edge of the table just below the elbow generally. I may use a very small amount of wrist movement for fine tuning i.e. aiming something at a distance

I 'claw-grip' the mouse, with just a bit of my palm barely touching and my wrist firmly on the mat hardly moving. So, about 90% hand(finger) movement.

Normally wrist only, sometimes I just move my fingers sometimes my whole hand/arm.

kinda hard to be consciously observing your mouse movement, just do it naturally which is however you feel comfortable with.

I just move my hand and dont think my wrist moves at all. I use a Logitec mx518 and usually set the sensitivity high enough so that I can spin 180o with about 1" hand movement.

Seems this is the least popular method of using a mouse and probably explains why i suck . Ive seen a few videos of some decent players and they were using a large mouse pad and moving the mouse about using the full pad. I did give this a try but found it too hard to get used to.

shifting my mouse from my thumb to my little finger moves it perfectly across the 1920 monitor

if I actually slide the mouse with my wrist across the mouse mat one side to the other I do about 7-10 full 360 spins in bc2.
