How do you warn other about mobile speed cameras?

Around my way I could probably list the 3 or 4 places where the van ALWAYS sits and so I'll always make sure to triple check my speed before getting close but still loads of road users flash their lights to alert others of the camera, a friend of mine had a good telling off from a copper for doing this so I don't.

I usually warn others by pointing my middle finger at them, surprising it works far more often than I initially expected.
