2. Stream from Netflix or Amazon and occasionally iPlayer.

But I do buy physical media of films or boxsets I really enjoy. I like to own Blu Ray disks, same with music and books although I keep it limited and not go too mad. Also for some series they are not on a streaming service such as Miami Vice (original series) which has been on my radar for ages - so I will likely buy the boxset.

A question for another time, where do you watch your films - I have a habit of watching on my PC!?

My big TV is also my PC Monitor so it's mainly 2 and 3 for me but back in Stoke I've got about 1000 Blu-Rays stored in the old CD Wallet/folder/binder type things because, as much as I like streaming/downloading the bit-rate for most things is pretty poor so having the physical media with all the extra's etc is still how I'd prefer to watch a movie.

What I find myself doing mostly nowadays is using streaming to filter films into "spend money on a Blu-ray" or "delete this garbage" piles so I end up only spending £15+ on stuff I really want to keep.

What the ****? Why has my post been removed? It would help if whoever deleted it would actually say why they deleted it rather than just posting 'No reason given'.

I have the attention span of a gnat, so I rarely watch a movie, save for classics like “Casablanca”, “Taxi Driver” and “Jean de Florette” which I’ve recorded from TV and kept.
Anyone who says nom nom nom when eating, should be slowly garrotted with piano wire.

Mostly 2. I have an AppleTV4k box and an atmos soundbar so I am slowly replacing my old 1080p ripped Bluray collection that exists on my Plex library with '4k' equivalents on my iTunes library. Their prices are good, with weekly 4k bargains at £4.99 so it's hard to beat really.

I also use Prime Video on my ATV4k box, though the app itself as most will attest is a disaster in terms of UI and general navigation.

Mainly download to PC and transfer to WDTV media player.

or Netflix

or Amazon Prime

65" Sony with Denon surround sound kit.

TV and movies are one of my few 'luxuries'. Although these days i prefer TV series to movies, some awesome shows. I've been putting it off for quite a while, but about to start Banshee at some point due to the recommendations made here.

I rip Blu-ray disks in full minus foreign audio tracks to my PC and stream via Plex to an Nvidia Shield. I watch on an LG 55" OLED with a 5.1.2 audio set up.

I also use the three main streaming services as.
