How does a guy like this get a girl like that?

I will say it now someone else has (did not want to be first).

She is average at best and that is in the video with all that slap on, God know what she looks like without it.

Could be they are simply in love, it can/does happen.

Usually the women who are obsessed with money either havent had many relationships and are very idealistic, or they are just very materialistic people and not worth your time or effort.

Most women don't know what they want from a partner. That's why when a guy starts changing himself for her, yea she'll keep with him for a while and then eventually she'll dump him to be with a bad boy.

I don't think I am an incel to be honest, I don't share the awful views on woman that a number in here have already posted. Look at the post two above the original quote, that is straight up incel bait.
 
I'm really surprised by the comments in this thread.

At first I was like, doesn't everyone deserve love and happiness?

Then I was thinking there doesn't have to be an agenda for a connection, some people can see another human struggling and just want to help, there are decent people in the world despite what the media would have us believe.

Then the talk of incels got me thinking maybe it's more of a 'if they can get someone decent, why not me?' and that's a tough spot to be in. Often those who struggle with relationships often have deeply rooted issues with themselves and that takes a lot of work to get through. Attractiveness comes from the inside out and people can close themselves off for many reasons.

So I guess the answer to the question in the OP is, they were both open to it, despite his limitations he sees value in himself and she does too.

I was actually guilty in that I judged some of you for your responses without taking a minute to look behind the obvious. Just wanted to share ;)

A guy in my team has a wife who earns pretty much 3 times what he does. And he's so under the thumb the only outlet he has is work and the football. He's an absolute nightmare at team meetings where nobody else is allowed to speak and it's hilarious when some of the women mention anything or make statements he tears them to shreds. All the guys now just sit back and watch the show all you need to do is drop a hand grenade of a topic in and then sit back.

You should see him on nights out that's if he's allowed most of the time he's not. He will drink two pints like it's nothing inside 15 minutes and won't stop there. He gets absolutely mangled and we aren't exactly light drinkers but his pace is frightening.

I once sold him a TV and his wife barely said hello when he came to collect and was telling him to get a move on they had places to be. It's not as if we were taking the pee either literally just getting it off the wall and into the car and a quick 30 second chat.

Maybe your setup is different but it's best men are the main breadwinners. All the women I know that earn more than their husbands are fixated on materialistic things and generally clueless and think very highly of themselves. I'd much rather have a gold digger who l can control.

I've heard plenty of stories.

A funeral I went to a few years back. There was a girl who their parents were looking for a suitable partner for. She was refusing to get married to anyone who earned less than her because she was in a high paying job as a lawyer.

But the fact was she was grossly overweight. So if a guy did earn more why would he marry that? Unless of course he was elephant Man or a typical sweaty nerd who had never touched a woman before.

Plenty of women are controlling but plenty of blokes are too. Financial abuse is one thing, but there's plenty of other ways to control people. And just because financial abuse exists, doesn't mean all higher earning women are controlling, it just shows you are terrified by the prospect and think yourself unable to maintain a relationship in a way that you wouldn't wind up financially abused yourself.

You are literally ruling out a good percentage of available partners purely based on the fact they earn lots of cash because you would be emasculated by them. That's a check mate.
