You might want to familiarise yourself with the definition perhaps.

The checkmate stays I'm afraid. I just said it in a much more straight forward manner and didn't skirt around it.

Think this thread has run its course.im surprised the running man hasn't posted a video of a supposedly beautiful master race blonde haired blue eyed Aryan marrying a Nigerian and asking why she would. As it's pretty much what you did towards dwarfs.
 
My take on this is that appearance is not an obstacle when it comes to love.

Example - there are some pretty ugly (in my eyes) dog breeds out there that are adored by their owners. Furthermore there is a subset of beautiful women that cherish idiosyncratic dogs.

Once you get past appearance there is humour, soul, loyalty, uniqueness, bravery etc.

***wow, this couple seems to be everywhere at the moment! Either they have a really good PR agent or it's just a coincidence but they seem to be popping up everywhere. I've seen them about for a couple of years now and the general consensus out there is that she has a wired fetish coupled with him being particularly wealthy. As far as i know, he's completely disabled from the waist down and none of it works.

I've seen several of the videos over the years now and it all seems a little put on and forced from her side. He's obviously enjoying the attention and probably knows what's going on and is just rolling with it. I'm leaning on the side that she's heavily into the nightingale effect****

Can we have a poll? Which do we thing is most cringeworthy?

  • The people amazed that someone can be attracted to a dwarf
  • The people feeling it's vitally important to point out that the woman isn't very attractive by their own lofty standards
  • The people unironically talking about Alpha status and how they're big-ball Gucci belt wearers
  • The people so incredibly misogynistic that there is no doubt in their mind it comes down to money, or the ability to financially or emotionally abuse a man
This place is like some kind of incel think tank at times.

Bond and chemistry or natural attraction. She is good with that life, as long as she get what she wants and lives the idea she has in her head. Even sleeping with goblins.

Plus that’s not to say she won’t have someone else fulfilling the physical part on the sly.

Men like to project their success by displaying an attractive partner
Women like to project their success by displaying a wealthy partner

I wouldn't say one is worse than the other.

We seem to be surrounded by borderline sociopaths, who think that every interaction is entirely transactional, and every person's worth can be defined by their looks and their wallet.
 
In reference to the thread title, when I was in my late thirties, a London Black Cab driver, I snagged a very attractive 19 y.o. American exchange student that I’d picked up at Heathrow, and dropped at Brunel University, Uxbridge.
I took her around town, we dined in all the good restaurants that I’d always used, and had a few weekends in Paris and Madrid, (this was when the job was a licence to print money).
I was never ugly, but I wouldn’t have given Brad Pitt sleepless nights, and one Saturday night I took her to a Bermondsey pub that I’d used since I was maybe 18, The Red Cow, Pages Walk.
Got to the bar, and there was a guy there that I knew, an electrician, he bought us a drink and we all began to chat.
Suddenly he said to my squeeze, “How on earth did a girl like you end up with him?”
She said, “Shucks, I guess I was just born lucky!”

In San Francisco CA, where she’s married to an architect, I haven’t seen her since she and her husband
came to my wedding in Brooksville FL in 1994, but we still get a card at Christmas.
