How does my build look? gaming/university graphics work

Yes, if you are using Photoshop etc. they will benefit from Nvidia cards, so maybe a change to the 660Ti will do you well. Not that the AMD cards don't help, I have a 6950 and it is used by Photoshop CS6. Just Nvidia cards are better because they support CUDA instructions.

If I was to get a 7950 the MSI Frozr III with SIX games is very enticing. I was doing a spec and was going to mention CUDA support, I see it's been mentioned. You might even "get away" with the i5K, ok you lose Hyperthreading but CUDA helps make up for the loss and the 670 is a beast of a GPU for gaming.

Offers change tomoz so these specs wont be valid for long. I included a bluray drive so you could rip the HD content to the 2TB storage. Kept your case, I used the H100i as it's an improved version of the only CLC worth having (bar the antec 920). The P&C PSU would look nice in white but I've used the corsair as it has more power for the same price.

Some of this could be considered luxuries that could pay for the hyperthreading, how you balance the build is really down to you fella. Tammzy has shown well how to balance the budget :D Are you taking the rig away for uni? Maybe a mini-itx rig would be more portable? Using the Bitfenix Prodigy perhaps?

i <3 my prodigy lol. real pita in terms of cable management though, but that's mini itx.
tbh i wouldnt get benq screens, iirc dont they suffer from screen lag due to being *va?
