I run my OS, most programs and steam from my 512gb ssd. I reckon Win 7 takes about 1/4 the time to boot and everything is so snappy and responsive. Get a 256mb jobby for about 80 quid, you won't regret it!
Just upgraded my games drive to a 1tb ssd I paid only 60 quid more than I did for my os ssd early last year, for me the space saved by getting rid of my drive caddie is allowing me to fit a uber fat Rad
turned an old and slow laptop into a quick super responsive one for me! Even a new laptop was sluggish against it (new laptop had HDD) so I would recommend it for keeping old systems going that don't need a lot of processing power.
