how far do cats normally go?

our cat have been lost some 3 years ago and was found in a forest accidentaly by locals , the forest was 23 km's away.

YAY we found her, the house opposite ours had a cat flap in the back door but no ones been living there for the past week or so, some how she got in the cat flap but couldnt get back out

should have heard my mum when my dad came back with her lol yay

Glad to hear your cat returned. We don't realise how attached we are to them until they are gone. Bet the owners of that house had little piles of mess to clean up when they returned...lol

my dad just went over and looked in the window when he rememberd there was no one living there, he'd seen a cat flap in the door to the kitchen so went round the back (lucky the side gate was open) and next thing he knew a little grey face appeared in the window

im sure theres some nice surprises left in that house though

When our cat went missing we searched up and down, after a day or two it was so depressing so we went to the rspca and he was there!

Got him nutured (sp?) after that, is a bit harsh but he was found in some mud, dirty as can be and the rspca guy thought we abused him or something -.- Since getting him nutured hes been a home cat, only goes out for a bit of business or a local stroll
