How far do you commute to work?

Depending on my mood, 6miles of boring main roads or 10miles of nice twisty country roads, each way.

52 miles each way. Portsmouth to Christchurch Normally takes 60 - 90 mins

Luckily I left early yesterday. I must have just missed the coach fire that caused 15 mile tailbacks on the M3 yesterday.

I spent about 6 months driving up to Enfield every day (I live in SE London) so that was a bit of a PITA. Back to my usual haunt at Battersea so 5 miles or so?

If I were to drive it, 60 miles a day, but I don't, I use train and bus and walk.

Mine's about 17 each way. Mix of motorway and town driving, takes about 35-40 mins, doesn't bother me much as I have music etc

15 Miles each way,

35 minutes on the motorbike (if that) each way across London.
45 minutes on the pushbike
1 Hour 20 minutes each way by public transport (I don't use this option unless I'm going out after work)

1.2 miles from the girlfriends house

Drive the car from both, but then I have been known to drive to my friends house which is about 300m away.

to be fair, i NEVER go straight home after work, however i guess i could walk to and from work, then get the car afterwork and drive the rest?
