I've played WoW on and off from the start and had my email address for 3+ years, and haven't had one of these emails. What do you have to do to be getting 5 of these emails a day? Do you join all the porn sites with your usual email address? No offense meant I'm just wondering

I've never gotten one either. And it can't be porn sites because..er..well it just can't. Not that I'd know. Um.

No idea, I don't look at porn sites, in fact I use my pc for very little to be honest. Work related php and Sql , the only website I really visit are normal run of the mill ones, news websites, ocuk, thats about it.
Strangely, for the whole time that my wow account was active I never once got a fake email, its only since the start of this year that I started getting the emails (long after my account went inactive). Frankly if it stopped the spam emails they could have my account for all I care, I don't play it anymore and no intention of playing it again, so they might as well. Not that it would do them much good because there is nothing on the account as I delete all my characters whenever I leave an mmo.

I get the feeling they probably just target anyone who's details they can get hold of thats signed up to a larger gaming site.
Seriously frustrating, I never used to get em at all, and then one day they just started, and haven't stopped since.

What's more annoying is when one of these idiots puts your email address as the return to email. My hotmail account receives around 3-400 email a day, all "delivery status notification (failure)" emails. Forward to Junk but still a pita and no way to stop them.
