How good is DPD?

Awesome service from DPD, love the fact they give you an hour window, whereas others will just say deliver between 8am and 6pm. Thumbs up from me.
 
had a graphics card delivered with PDP yesterday said 12:50 to 13:50 was here exact on 13:00!

happy days i say!
 
Been waiting in all day on a delivery from DPD and I just checked the tracking information and apparently I was carded, which is unlikely seeing as I was working from my living room which has a clear view of my drive.

Going to give them a call and see what the deal is.
 
All the couriers I've ever had stuff delivered by have been fine, to be honest. It's all down the driver and the depot and how good or bad they are, there seems to be no consistency within companies as to how decent they are.

DPD charge extra for NI deliveries, several other companies do not, thus I don't buy from OcUK anywhere near as often as I used to, as they might have lower prices, but now I need to factor DPD into every equation.
 
Don't like the fact they don't leave with a neighbour, and i don't like the 30 odd mile round trip to pick up my parcel.

However, ive never recieved a damaged parcel from them and at least they dont drop fragile parcels over a 6ft gate!

Ideal for office deliveries or if you can be in during the day, if you work 8-5 they're not that good at all.
 
I've never had an issue with any courier to be honest - other than an uncooperative customer service representative from DHL.
When it comes to their various automated telephone systems however..... another story.
 
Whether it is before midday, normal or Saturday delivery the service here is great. The one hour estimated delivery window has always been met.
 
DPD are very good, far better than DHL ever were, even if I did say so myself recieving a ban in the process for warning OCUK not to use them but 2 minutes later them dropping them with many thousands of pounds of claims outstanding due to poor service and broken and lost items thank you very much for my still as yet unreceived apology ;)
