How hard did you work at University?

Hard enough.

My final year lecture/practical timetable covered 09:00 - 21:00 Monday and 09:00 - 12:00 Tuesday. Five day weekend \o/ :D

Quite. You get out what you put in imo.

As a lot have said, I was quite chilled for 2/3 of the term, then in the last 1/3 would really buckle down and work my butt off!

I'm working pretty hard but then I want a first as it increases chances of getting on a PGCE course and increases the bursary.

Very hard, achieved a first. However I finished uni months ago and I have been unable to find a job, it's making me regret all the effort put in during final year.

Not very hard, always left assignments until the morning they were due to be handed in and spend most of my time in the pub.

To coin an old phrase, work hard, play hard. This is what i lived by at uni, had to do a lot of hard work as my lecturers where generally useless, but made plenty of time for going out and what not

Lol everyone on my degree worked their backsides off, some of them struggled to get a 2.2, if I'd worked I'd probably have got a 2.1 and would have walked into a training contract. I've got a 2.2 Law degree and a very well paid job but I'm still not a solicitor yet - food for thought but then again theres not many career paths as competitive as my chosen one

I used to be of the opinion that I could have got a better grade if I worked harder, but honestly, I didn't work harder and I doubt if I did it all again I would work any harder.

It's nice to know that somewhere in a different universe I'm supreme leader of the galaxy with multi-billions in my account and broads left, right and centre.

I didn't do anything. My attendance was probably around 30%. I regret it a bit perhaps as I know that I could have got a first if I'd actually handed essays in on time/actually revised for exams instead of rocking up but I had a fab time at least. My end result hasn't affected any of my employment opportunities thus far...

How hard did you work at University versus how much you spent having a good time?

The first time around, not very hard at all and stumbled out with a second rate degree and not much idea of what I wanted to do with my life. The second time I worked my nads off, got a first, went on to do a masters, worked hard and will soon be starting a PhD.

You will never regret working hard at uni, you may regret being a useless layabout.

Work hard.

Final year was without doubt the toughest year of Uni. Its when you get most of your marks and know that you have to take things really seriously... plus now that a few years have gone by, most people have matured somewhat from the same 18-ish year old they were when they first showed up.

My only regret is that if I had worked as hard in my Second Year as I did my Final Year, I'm sure I would have got a First as I only just missed out.

Failed final year due to going out drinking too much and spending too much time playing sport etc.

Had an awesome time at uni but regret not doing the work a lot now but definitely chose the wrong course and should have taken a gap year.

enough to get a 2:1 and have a really good time.

Dont think I would have liked to have doubled the work that seemed to be recuired to get a 1st

I think only 1 person did in my entire year.
