Stock or clocked?
What programme are you using to monitor your temps! (try core temp),
Which thermal paste did you use.
Rob
If you use to much it can make your temps worse, If you used Arctic Silver, you only need a small line accross the processor, which gets spread out by the Heatsink.
Ignore the above, down load core temp and see what that reads.
Rob
Are you using Vista 64bit!
If yes you will need the new version which was posted on these forums, I will go and seek.

I think this is it
Edit: After install, you need to click coretemp_startup file first then the application

This is where it came from and it worked for me. Did you un-install the first one?
Hi,
Found the links, I've included the original thread from here, make sure you read the post in the second link because every time you start core temp you will need to click on 2 other files which are zipped to the same directory, I didn't and wondered why it did not work.

Rob
Just checked mine again you need to run Atsiv & Coretemp-statup before running the main programme.
Rob
You can use speed fan but you will need to add 15c to temps being shown, as it seems to under rate the temps.
Bizar, try task manager just to check that the original process is not running, then try extracting the download to a new folder, just in case.
Rob
the CPU temps are indicated as Core 0=25C,1=23C,2=20C,3=24C
You will need to add +15c to those temps
Seems to be rather high for GO stepper.
Have you rechecked your Tuniq? Or have you applied a fresh application of Artic?
What's your case cooling setup?
I have just got the same chip as you, with an Arctic Freezer and currently idling at 37,36,33,33 after just stopping 3 hours Priming. I'd expect the Tuniq to peform better - does it not come with compound pre-applied?
Plus, did you say you were at stock? I have a 900Mhz overclock with my temps!
Reseat your cooler with the specified amount of compund, applied horizontally.![]()
This guide will help you Admiral Huddy posted pics how to apply the TIM.
