Some of you followed my redundancy woes last year and some know that I ended up in a top job.
Basically made redundant after 27 years, asked to go on a Ready To Go Course in Clinical Support by the Jobcentre and ended up being taken on in a top job dealing with all 14-19 year old students (not patients) who pass through the hospital.
Up to yet I have been wheeled out 3 times to give a speech to top brass about what the NHS has done for me and regulary mix with Doctors, Consultants, Professors etc.
This morning I have received a letter from College telling me I haven't passed my Ready To Go Course
Am I in breach of contract :D

It would depend on what your contract says and whether you put on your CV that you'd actually passed it.

Also congrats on the epic fail. :p

Were you drunk when you put this thread up?

I'm failing to see any irony here.

I wasn't but I'll ask one now, why would you say you'd completed a course when you clearly hadn't?

Sorry lads but I fail to see what you're not understanding.
I'll put it in very simple words that chavs can understand.

1 - In January I went on a course at the hospital
2 - I ended up in a really good job because of that course and was told I walked it (anybody could)
3 - I've just received a letter saying that I failed it.
4 - It is ironic because I got the job because of a course that I failed.
5 - It is also ironic that 3 times I've given speeches to top brass about the course and what it did for me.
6 - I am worried

Thats more ironic than anything so far

But yeah, find out why you failed it, redo it, then forget all about it.

so you could possibly be in the **** yet you come and blab to every man and his keyboard on ocuk ? mental..
