How ironic is this?

Heres the other ironic bit.
I was actually in a class where I was Einstein compared to everybody else.
There were SEN's in the class too (Special Educational Needs) and BME's (Black and Ethnic Minorities) who couldn't speak a word of English (I actually stared a thread about this).
The guy next to me couldn't even add 1 to 47 but he ended up passing.
This course is so easy that absolutely anybody could pass it.
My placement on the course was to go with the next intake and help with Numeracy, Literacy and IT Skills.
I then facilitated classes of Doctors & Nurses and went on to work with the 14-19 team where I ended up in a very well paid job.

There has got to be a mistake with this letter.

What is a 'Ready To Go' course?

Ready To Go in Clinical Support.
Basically you sit through lessons in safety, equality & diversity, learning basics about the NHS and then go on a placement where you are portering, cleaning, cooking, washing, assisting etc but I ended up in the Academy helping to teach.
Its an absolute doddle BUT it goes a long way when you apply for a job.

It's more ironic that you are doing very well in your job. So well that you are asked to do speeches and such, and you aren't actually qualified.

You probably failed at the point you told them that you listen to Slayer and collect Nazi memorabilia :p

Tune in next week for another "whats going on in my life" story

What is ironic is how you bang on about how great you are and the fact is ethnics that couldn't speak English passed the course you couldn't

Black yourself up and act a bit special next time you sit the exam.

do you have to do this in every single dmpoole thread ?

Fail? good work, you should do the bloody honest thing and tell your employers that you FAILED but are finding out why that is. if its genuine get on and redo it, if its an error then get it sorter.

End of the day qualifications can mean bugger all in the grand scheme of things, because you can clearly do the job. so hopefully they wont mind.

I suggest you look up the word ironic :p I think you may be confuzzled :p
Nevertheless, bad luck mate :p

Incongruity between what might be expected and what actually occurs
Poignantly contrary to what was expected or intended
I think it fits :D

do you have to do this in every single dmpoole thread ?

I've been expecting his twin to come along and say something nasty too but it goes over my head now and is totally expected.
And he's right, he hasn't trashed threads but has to come out with nasty comments.
The day I **** somebody off on here for talking about their life is the day I leave.

ANYWAY,
I was getting worried so I've been to the woman who ran the course and is now one my work colleagues.
I showed her the letter, she read it, pulled a face, read it again, pulled a bigger face and then shook her head.
She then reminded me that I actually picked my certificate up in front of 200 people at the Wade Hall and gave a speech (my memory is getting worse).
She's seeing into it.

So you've been given the certificate for passing, but now you've been told you failed?
