Having a discussion with somebody about handwriting and I have to say mine is pretty poor and wondering why that is. I had a good education and was brought up by educators, my dads handwriting looks extremely sophisticated, like a scientists, which he is. I vaguely still remember being about 5 years old and struggling with handwriting. It looks a bit childish. Why is that, maybe just bad teaching, laziness or I don't have the artistic brain.

Mine is terrible can't do joined up most of the time do capitals and my little 5 year old nephew can out spell me "sad but true"

My handwriting is terrible. Not just bad, but terrible.
I never mastered joined up writing, and even now my scrawl looks like it has been done by a 5 year old. I have to write a lot by hand for my job, and have resorted to block capitals in order to be able to make it legible for others.

Pants, mainly due to the fact 99.9% of stuff I do is on an electronic device. Only time I pick up a pen now is to sign something.

To me, mine is terrible, I reckon a 5 year old had better hand writing than me.

But Ive been told it's neat by a few people.

If I'm writing with no time constraints then i'd say mine is pretty good for a guy. Girls always seem to have better handwriting than guys.

In exam conditions, well, I'm surprised I've actually passed exams.

Shocking now but it used to be good, saw a copy of my first year science notebook from when I was 12, all nicely formed cursive writing, very clear and easy to read.

Now, it's all scribbles that I can just about make out...

I've been told mine looks girly which I took as a compliment. :D

I'm left handed too so were not all rubbish. :p

Bloody awful, a barely legible inky mess, if you get drunk & squint really hard at the paper its readable, other wise not a chance.
