How is your handwriting?

I had really nice writing throughout my education. Now when I write it is terrible scrawl! It's like the lack of practice really has affected me.

On the flip side, I'm awesome at Street Fighter though :p

Mine is abysmal.Always has been. I remember all the girls with their perfectly formed letters while my jerky scratched out writing stood in stark contrast as a child.

Maybe it's a left-brain thing.

Mine is a joke spent to much time trying to improve it nothing helped my hands just do not work properly even using scissors i fail.

If I write quickly I can't even read it myself.... Not good. Guess like most people here though I spend my life typing rather than writing with a pen so it's just completely lack of practise!
Whilst I never had nice hand writing it did use to be legible back in school :p

Lefty genius (or so I like to think). I try to write smart and it comes out in block capitals - but not just capitals, I even throw in lower case letters in there, just to really confuse people.

If I can be bothered then my handwriting is very good. However most of the time I am rush writing so it ends up basically messy.

After years in my work mine looks like city blueprint font. I dont really have my own handwriting anymore.

work wise it's mostly messy depending on pen being used, but i'm the one in the family used for writing cards out as wife thinks it's nicer.

If I write joined up, sometimes I struggle to read what I have written.

For that reason I use print writing most of the time, which is ok but sloooow.

I blame my first school as they forced me to change from being left handed to right handed.

I was taught American Script (Cursive) during my early years at a private school, which looks particularly neat when written with a fountain pen or pencil, but positively awful with a ball point.

Absolutely shocking.
Extra tuition, extra writing classes. Nothing helped. Thank god for computers.

Pretty-much this, did mean I learned to touch-type when I was about 10 though. Generally doesn't bother me too much, unless I'm writing a note for a girl or a card to someone or something, in which case my barely-legible scribbles do rather spoil the sentiment somewhat. Plus I'm left-handed, so if it's an ink pen you can count on half of it being smudged.
