How is your handwriting?

TERRIBLE

oops

i write a shopping list or postit notes once a week everything else is typed.

Not too bad (not incredible but clearly legible by most), as I spend a lot of time writing in uni (even doing engineering =o).

I expect once I finish uni in may my handwriting will suffer

I write in block capitals. So it's neat, but it's much harder work than cursive. Went to school with a guy whose handwriting was so bad they had to give him an electronic typewriter for working.

My handwriting is shocking, it always has been.

Back in the 90's I was even allowed to use a laptop in school exams and national exams because it was that bad. The faster I try write something down the worse it gets, if I can take my time then it readable and OK, still looks like a young childs handwriting mind you. However if I have to write fast (e.g. taking notes, writing an exam or the likes) it goes down hill verrrrry quickly.

It's just embarrassing as a 26 year old to have the hand writing ability of a 8 year old its very annoying and would love to actually go back and learn to write properly but I suspect even with professional "lessons" it wouldn't do much good, I did have help with it when I was a lot younger to no avail.

Throughout university I took notes via hand instead of a laptop, and I use to have issues reading my own handwriting. Quite annoying!

If I'm just making notes for myself or so it's a mess and mostly unreadable by the majority of people. But if doing formal documents or notations on drawings then I can write extremely neat too.

Seems writing has become a dying art form :(

I can't read anything I write so it might as well be encrypted.

I have in the past tried to improve it but I think my hand doesn't remain steady enough, which is odd because I was quite good at painting miniatures?

Above all I hate those sadistic ****s in HR that expect forms to be handwritten
Just **** off and given your poxy job to a retard with perfect writing then

Used to be good at school, but due to my job, everything is keyboard, so it's pretty bad, I tend just to use block capitals.. Just lack of practice with me really.

I'm roundly mocked in work for the state of my hand writing. It is utterly horrific and worst than a doctors chicken scratches :p

Luckily everything I do through work is computer based so my terrible writing is only for me!

Mine is pretty bad - a combination of being a lefty and hardly ever using a pen anymore.

When at school we were made to use fountain pens which can be a pain for a lefty. Smudged ink all over the page, side of palm all coverd in ink and the nib making scratches in the paper.

I'm left handed and have 3 styles of writing; block caps, girlyesque and joined up italic (AKA Doctors writing)

Depends what I'm doing at the time to warrant which font I use

I think my hand writing is terrible but everybody says they like the way I write even my old Professor mate. I write with my left hand so it leans all over the place & I constantly throw in exaggerated loops. :D
