make it go away lol.... ben told by someone else today the first time hurts (guess its like losing your virginity or summat? lol) and then it gets less but i didn't believe him...

Delayed onset muscle soreness, 2-5 days generally. Probably nearer the 5 if you've really never done one before.

You've got DOMS, its normal. First day hurts, second day usually hurts more for me, third day its pretty much gone.

Just man up :p

I did a mixture of situps/crunches totalling 150 last night....and it doesn't hurt :)
 
Just take it day by day. The first thing to remember is that you will meet someone else, someone better. Perhaps take up some new hobbies to take your mind off her. Let her go and move on with your life.

Second day always hurts more than the first. Then third day should be gone. Best way for it not to hurt? Do them every day, won't have time for pain :p.
 
WTF is DOMS? I think I managed that when I tried the 100 push ups thing, and the sit ups thing, and the squats thing all at the same time, could barely move for a week. Can you slip into vigorous exercise gently?

What made you think doing any situps, never mind 75, was a good idea? I didn't think it was true that people actually thought sits and armcurls constituted proper exercise, or "working out".

Man up and do squats, they'll do more for your core than any number of sit ups will.
