How long does it take you to boot your PC

Mine takes exactly 3 minutes from pressing the power button to having loaded all my programs, norton, logitech setpoint, msn, steam.

How long does it take you guys, dunno if mine is really slow or not

Yours is slow I reckon, mine's under 120 seconds, Vista 64, E4300 @ 2.6GHz, 2GB RAM.

would be interested in finding a fast way to boot up when i upgrade. guess a new hd might be in order

Maybe he has more programs running at startup? virus scanners etc are slooow

for some reason it takes a while to post even though its set to fast boot in the bios - i think its something to do with the jmicron controller

I dont have a amazing spec PC but adequate, what you think is slowing me down. Ive only just formated too, you think it could be my hdd - seems as ive had it in 2 machines from about 5 years ago.. lol

ah right.. i dont load any apps on boot so that could be why too.

yep looks like ya hdd

also try it with only 2 identical sticks of ram in the same colour slots so it runs dual channel
