how long for dell laptop to arrive from date of order?

I ordered my Dell 13z on the 1st December. No personalisation
Expected delivery date is 15/12/09. Any chance of them shipping it earlier.

ordered my dell studio i7 with no personalisation on the 26th and expected delivery date was 4/1/2010.
Still hasnt changed :(
 
I dont think you will have to wait that long

I ordered my I7 with personalisation and its being delivered on monday

*yep thats right monday, thought it was today what a let down DOH :(
 
I ordered an i7 Studio XPS16 with the 256Gbyte SSD on the 25th Nov. Yesterday it was still in Pre-Production with a delivery date of 01/01/2010, but today it says it has shipped! May have it in another week. Must not get too excited, or maybe I will!

Took a while to get some news, I had ordered an Inspiron 3 years ago and since then I changed my e-mail address. I changed my e-mail on the Dell Web site before I ordered this new machine and the order confirmation came to the new one. but they seem to have reverted to my old address after the order was processed. I had to ring Customer Services, which was a bit of a trial, to get them to put it right and give me the order number.
 
Whats the battery situation ? Do i have to leave it on charge for a certain time when on first use

Cant belive how quick it is, loaded up office in no time at all. Very impressive
 
got my i7 baby studio 17. very nice. hope it don't break. may reformat and install win again as loads of dell bloatware on it.

Received the call earlier, it is coming tomorrow afternoon. I've waited just over a week which I'm happy about compared to some people posting on here that have had to wait up to 3-4 weeks.

It has arrived today, but management has snaffled it and hidden it away until the 25th. Boo! :eek:

Never mind, give me something to play with Christmas day!:D

My Walsh and Western tracking was stuck on 'departed manufacturing' from Saturday morning until early yesterday, I was beginning to blame the pirates, then I got the call while I was at work. I was able to select the am delivery and it was delivered at 10:15.

To summarise, ordered on the 25th nov., delivered 10th December.

Getting worried about mine. Still stated as Work in Progress. Supposed to be getting here on Tuesday. I ordered a Dell inspiron 13z on the 1st.
