I registered as a "spec me a new" type member. I then evolved and branched into the PC Games section. I then branched to GD and SC. Since then, i've never come here for technical stuff.

Just about 5 years nearly. Signed up to ask a question about a modem problem I had.

I signed up to ask about an X1950XT and a new PC. If only I knew I was about to begin my most disasterous build yet. By the time I'd finished, I'd spent about £1400 in selling, changing and buying things, and got a PC worth about ~£800.

Taught me a lesson; always go for goods with a decent warranty. And get a proper PSU first time round.
