How long have you been a member of OcUK Forums?

I lurked pre nuke as registrations were closed, then signed up after the new forums launched.

Used to be a lot more involved, particularly in GD. Now I tend to stick to my subforums over in Gaming, and simply browse threads in GD rather than get involved. The threads are a lot less intelligent than they used to be in ere, and Speakers Corner has far too many idiots in it.
 
November 2005, so a while now - 2 1/2 years. I'd lurked before then for a while when I was looking for some overclocking information, but I finally signed up so I could ask something specific - can't remember what now.

OK that's a little weird ... I'm user 44071 (and there are plenty more that joined after me, obviously) ... but according to the front page, there are only 34498 registered members on the forums :confused:

2002. Was lurking for quite a bit in 2001 during college. :)

My mate told me about the site and I brought a AMD AXIA 1000 T-Bird bundle from OcUK, Got her up to 1.4Ghz :D
I remember them also being reviewed in PC Format, must have been in 2001. Got a good review of the bundle.

Edit - I'll dig out some old OcUK screen dumps tomorrow :D

Been Too LOong to remember. I like Over Clocker Have been here since 1998/1999 well before the first forum rebuild and The Big Nuke of 2002, Its some of the old Dons That i miss more than anything! And the Random name change nights when all hell use to break loose :)

I came here as i had just managed to clock my 650mhz slotA Athlon up to 800mhz and needed some mental cooling to keep it there. Only posted about 10 - 15 times a year for a while then joined the old SETI@home project and ocuk team back in the old days :)
 
Since 2005 as thats when i first decided to build my first PC. I knew about the store before that though and actually bough a hdd from here for my first rig as at the time it was cheaper inc delivery than from where i got the rest of the stuff from.

I found the case gallery from a google search and joined up from there. Ive not been claimed either so think i get the crown for most posts before claimage :D.

Am i right in saying this forum has been nuked twice in the past 8 years ?

Found the OcUK main site for computer parts when pricing my first self built PC. The link was on the Hercules site i think for graphics cards. Then found the OcUK forums when needing help building the system lol
 
I swear I can remember browsing at school, so that must be around 1998, certainly 1999. Were ocuk forums even around in 1998?

Geeze, thats a long time, never really thought about how long it was!
 
I joined nearly 3 1/2 years ago. I only joined to ask questions about the asus sli mobo that was the new thing back then. That was in the hardware section, i haven't been in there since! I lurk more in GD now :D
 
Late 1999 early 2000 here somewhere around there signed up not too much after i started going on the internet at home. When i got a job and could pay for it.
 
March 2006.

2 years 3 months roughly

Lurked for a year and a bit before then. The X800PRO to XT softmod thread in GPU was the reason I signed up.
